Policies and Procedures

Policy Overview

REGISTRATION: There is an annual fee of $50.00 for per child and a maximum fee $80 per family . A registration form must be filled out for each child prior to their first class.

MAKE-UPS: Make ups are scheduled at the office. You have (1) one month to make up the missed class. If the scheduled make up is missed without 24 hour notice, the make up class is forfeited. We do not adjust tuition for missed classes.

TUITION PAYMENTS: Please drop off or mail your tuition payment before the 1st of each month. Tuition must be paid prior to the first (1st) of the month. (Example: for classes in February, tuition must be paid prior to February 1st.) If tuition is not paid prior to the 1st, the student will be dropped from the program. If the student is dropped due to non-payment or improper withdrawal, there will be a $15 (per child) administrative fee to re-enroll. Tuition is based on a four (4) lesson month. Fees will be adjusted for months with five (5) lessons or gym holidays. No credit or adjustments will be made for unattended classes. Make-up classes will be given for missed classes. A $30.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

WITHDRAWALS: Please give a two week written notice if you need to withdraw your child from the program. Until this notice is on file, you will be responsible for payment in full. We usually have a waiting list of children who would like to start gymnastics.

Tuition and Scheduling Policy

CLASS REGISTRATION
New students will be placed into their selected classes based on the order in which registrations are received. The summer schedule is issued in May of each year and the Fall/Winter/Spring schedule is issued in July. You will receive notification advising you that the schedule is available and when enrollment will begin. You are encouraged to enroll as early as possible as classes fill quickly. We will make every effort to place each student in the class of their choice. If this is not possible, you may request to go on the waiting list for that class and we will notify you when a vacancy becomes available. *Note: The only time the class schedule changes, is at the beginning of August, and at the end of the school year.

Your child is automatically guaranteed a space in his/her selected class each month UNLESS the office is notified in writing by you. We require a (2) two week written notice prior to withdrawing from classes for any reason. If (4) four consecutive classes are missed and payment has not been received your child will be removed from our program and placed in an inactive file. The class space will be made available for another child. You will be responsible for any unpaid tuition.

Your annual registration fee is honored for 12 months from the date it is originally paid. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!

To ensure that all of our students receive proper instruction with sufficient time on the equipment, we limit our class sizes. Our target ratios are as follows:
Preschool classes …..5-7 students per instructor
Stage I & up …. 8-10 students per instructor

5.  Please call or stop by the office to make any class schedule changes. All class changes must be handled through our office. Because we feel that our instructors should put all their energies into their most important priority–teaching their students, we don’t ask them to handle scheduling.

MAKE UP CLASSES

You have (1) month to schedule a make up class after a class is missed. All make up classes are scheduled through our office. After your child has missed a class, please call the office for available make up classes. If a scheduled make up class is missed without 24 hour cancellation notice, the make up class is forfeited. WE DO NOT adjust fees for missed classes.

Please do not ask the office to schedule a make up class until after the absence has occurred. If you are unsure of how many make up classes you need, all absences are recorded and can be checked by the office.
*PLEASE DO NOT ASK THE OFFICE TO DEVIATE
FROM THE MAKE UP POLICY AS STATED ABOVE.*

TUITION

Our Fall/Winter/Spring sessions run from August through May. Summer session is June and July. Because some months have (4) four classes and others (5) five, your child will have an average of four classes per month. Holidays are taken into consideration when establishing monthly tuition. Therefore, some months your child’s tuition may be slightly higher for (5) classes, and slightly less when there is a holiday.
WE DO NOT PRORATE for missed classes (except for new students registering mid-month). Please do not ask the office to prorate your bill for missed classes When you enroll your child in a class, your place is reserved; therefore, you are responsible for payment regardless of your child’s attendance. We do allow make up classes as explained above.
We are a small business with monthly obligations that we must pay each month. Because of this, your child’s tuition is due by the 1st of the month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed if tuition is paid after the 5th. Tuition statements will be given out the last class of the month for the following month’s tuition. If your child is absent that week, we will mail out your statement to the address on file. Please remember that billing is an expensive process, and one we try to avoid. We want to hold these types of costs down so that we can give you and your child the best quality instruction at the lowest possible price.
